MASAHE
Bodywork

My Story
Hey there! I’m Camille. Bay Area born and raised my journey as a massage therapist has really come full circle, beginning with the back issues I struggled with as a kid.
As a child, I had my first surgery for a slipped disc, and later as a teenager, I was diagnosed with scoliosis and had to have spinal fusion surgery. I know you're probably thinking, "Wow, that's a lot of surgery for a kid." Yeah tell me about it, let's just say you could call me a unicorn. Recovery was tough, but my dad who learned massage from my grandmother, Lola Alim, a healer in the Philippines. My dad would often say “MASAHE kita,” which translates to “I’ll massage you.” That phrase stuck with me, and today it’s the heart of MASAHE Bodywork. My dad was there to help me pre- and post-surgeries, and that’s when I first felt the true power of healing touch.
After high school, I married my high school sweetheart, Revelo, who joined the U.S. Navy. As a military spouse, I followed him across the country, and during that journey, I found my calling.
I graduated massage school in Virginia, October 2006. And two years later, while my husband was serving in Iraq in 2008, I had the incredible opportunity to train under Art Riggs, a pioneer in deep tissue massage and Rolfing. Learning from him was life changing. It opened the door to a career filled with continuous learning and growth.
For nearly 20 years now, I’ve dedicated myself to helping people move, heal, and feel their best whether it’s working with athletes, addressing chronic pain, or helping busy moms relax, recharge, and care for themselves.
My goal is simple: to help you feel better in your body, regain confidence in your movement, and leave each session feeling cared for and balanced.
Salamat, thank you for your interest! I hope to help you on your bodywork and self-care journey.
