What is Youth Bodywork?

Youth Bodywork is a specialized approach for young athletes and active kids to:

  • Improve movement and flexibility

  • Prevent injuries

  • Support overall physical well-being

Focus Areas:

  • Muscles and joints stressed by sports and physical activity

  • Promotes recovery, proper alignment, and body awareness

Benefits of Youth Bodywork

  • Prevents injuries

  • Relieves muscle tension from overuse

  • Improves flexibility and range of motion

  • Enhances body awareness and posture

  • Supports recovery from minor strains, sprains, or overuse

Session Philosophy & Recommendations

  • Consistency over one-offs: Regular sessions are more effective than single appointments.

  • Ongoing care: Bodywork is part of your child’s wellness routine; there is no “end goal.”

  • Booking & availability: Youth client schedule is limited. Book 4–6 weeks in advance to maintain consistency.

  • Parent presence:

    • Parents provide medical and activity history during intake.

    • During the session, parents may step outside the room but must remain in the building for supervision.

What Your Child Should Wear

  • Active shorts

  • Sports bra (for girls)

  • Comfortable clothing that allows full movement

Deposit & Booking Policy

  • Deposit: $60 via Venmo required to secure your appointment

    • Applied to your session balance
