When I first began my certification journey, starting with Art Riggs’ Deep Tissue 1 and 2, it wasn’t about collecting credentials or trying to stand out. It was simple: I wanted confidence in my hands and my technique. And honestly? I wanted so badly to pass the practical and hands-on test so I could make the deep tissue team.
But what began as a push for confidence and proving myself slowly transformed into something much more meaningful.
After having scoliosis surgery and a low back fusion, I carried so many questions about my own body how it moved, why it hurt, and what I needed to understand to support it. Studying deep tissue, myofascial release, movement patterns, and structural anatomy wasn’t just about becoming a stronger therapist… it was about understanding me.
My journey as a massage therapist spans nearly two decades, shaped by dedication, travel, and a commitment to mastering every aspect of bodywork. While my husband served in the military, I had the unique opportunity to train in multiple cities, each experience adding to the foundation of my practice

I value continuing education and staying at the forefront of my field. I recertify every two years to ensure my clients receive the most current, effective, and safe bodywork available.
Through all these trainings and certifications, my focus has remained the same: delivering results-driven, precise, and personalized bodywork that empowers my clients to move better, feel better, and perform at their best.

Looking back at 14 certifications over 19 years, it’s easy to see the dedication and drive I’ve poured into my craft. But I wouldn’t be here without the support that made it possible. Continuing education isn’t cheap, and stepping away from clients to attend workshops is a commitment in itself. With my husband’s support and as my backbone, he gave me the freedom to chase these certifications and learn from incredible mentors across the country. Without that foundation, I wouldn’t be the practitioner I am today.
